Memorial Day hike

On Memorial Day we decided to go on a hike to see some Indian writings that Aaron had been told about. What started out to be a three mile hike turned into at least a eight maybe nine mile hike. The trail signs were very confusing but we eventually found a few writings. Even though it was a long hike we had a great time. I was so proud of all the kids they were real troupers and did a great job. We had a great day.

This is Shae and Pyper starting out the hike. Shae was in the lead a lot of the time.
Family Picture. Isn't that a beautiful valley behind us.

Amy, Pyper and Brooke.

Riley and Pyper in the lead now. Pyper walked most of the way. Pretty impressive for her little legs.

The kids and I next to the few Indian writings we found.

Ethan found a Horny Toad on the way back to the car.

We had such a great day. It's really fun to do things like this. Especially now that the kids are getting older. They are growing up so fast! I wish I could keep them little, but it is also fun to see them grow and develop. I am very proud of them.
